I concede that imaging with a 2500mm focal length
at f/10 is tough! I was battling winds and what seemed to be less than ideal
seeing conditions. The stars were terribly fat, and the limited number of
subexposures yielded lots of noise :( The image shown was after extensive
surgery in processing, minimum filter, high pass kernal filter, median kernal
filter, 50% image size reduction, and whatever else I could do to salvage
the image |
